  Last year on a foggy August afternoon we were about to paddle out for the third session of a pretty good day. Realizing I was beyond tired, I remembered the old scuba camera under the passenger seat of the truck. Instead of grabbing the board, I wrapped the camera strap around my wrist and swam out. Several snapshots later I was hooked. Surf photography was almost as fun as surfing itself.

 As I build my portfolio and improve my "in water" skills, I'll be sharing my photos on this site. My ultimate goal is to consistantly capture the personality of the waves and the energy of the characters who ride them.  (and not take a fin to the skull while doing it)
